“During my research about different forms of societies I discovered that apparently there

  are still a few societies left on the globe where matriarchal structures prevail. Being

  intrigued by this topic, I decided to trace down and explore these remaining matriarchal

  cultures. My journeys in different parts of the world revealed totally different societies

  with matriarchal structures, however, those being very different from each other.”
